What is the Sales Cut-Off feature and how do I use it?

Sales Cut-Off

The Sales Cut-Off lets you close ticket sales for session-based events at a set time before or after each session's start or end time, for example 15 minutes before each session starts. Web and Box Office/Kiosk sales can have different cut-offs, so you can close online sales 30 minutes before a session ends while the box office and kiosk keep selling until it ends.

The cut-off can be applied to many events at once by the 123 Tix team. Contact us with the events and the cut-off you'd like. It replaces the sale end on every session ticket type of those events.

You can also set a cut-off yourself:

  • When you clone an event: in the event's Event options menu, select Clone, then tick Set ticket sales cut-off based on session times? and choose the time. This sets when online sales end for each session of the new event.

  • For one ticket type: on the event's Tickets page, edit the ticket type and set Box office / kiosk sale end to close box office and kiosk sales at a different time from online sales.
